The advantage of infrared panels is that they release the energy, for the most part as radiant energy (55%-60%) into the room. When hitting an object, but also when hitting the skin, a large part of the energy is absorbed and a small part is reflected to search again for an “object” to be heated. The other 40%-45% enter the room as convection energy, so that 100% of the supplied energy (Wattage) is always available to heat the room.
